This work of mine was again inspired by Roy Lichtenstein. His comic strip works were not only popular then but still are today, and I wished to try and re-create that.
Much like Lichtenstein's work, mine features few simple colours, the date to give it a comic strip effect and a caption.
The background is simple and blacked out to not distract the viewer from the foreground, as is similar to Lichtenstein's work.
The font used in the date and caption text was similar to that used by Lichtenstein to also help re-create the comic strip effect his work gave off.
